At its Marble Hall branch, OBARO partnered with Rentech to reduce rising electricity costs and limit the impact of load shedding on its operations. Commissioned in April 2024, the solution combines a 158 kWp solar PV system, 368 kWh of battery storage and 150 kW of inverter capacity, delivering average monthly savings of approximately R21 000.
