A legal requirement from 1 January 2026 with penalties for non-compliance. Regulations for the Mandatory Display and Submission of Energy Performance Certificates, promulgated in terms of the National Energy Act (Act No. 34 of 2008). Building owners must obtain, publicly display, and submit Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs); failure to comply may result in penalties of up to R5 million – or five years’ imprisonment, per Section 20(1) of the National Energy Act Alternative Energy Audits - Comprehensive power logging and analysis, followed by tailored solution proposals for:
- Grid-Tied Solar Solutions, Typical return on investment in less than 2.5 years.
- Peak Load Shaving Solutions, Typical return on investment in less than 4 years.
- Hybrid Solutions, Typical return on investment is between 4-6 years
